At this time the primary focus was performing insulation work for various power plants, industrial and commercial projects during the late 1960’s and 1970’s. In the 1980’s, AIC, Inc. expanded to include asbestos abatement due to the demand of the involved sites requiring abatement work. Since then the company has worked throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia performing all types of asbestos and lead abatement, selective demolition, insulation and flooring preparation projects.
American Industrial Contracting, Inc. also specializes in all types of floor covering removal and preparation whether or not asbestos is present. Services include but are not limited to the removal of hardwood, ceramic, carpet, linoleum and VCT flooring and adhesives. Professional scarifying and shot blasting of concrete and terrazzo floors are other services which are performed by the company.
